Third Thursdays in Downtown Cambridge

Downtown visitors will find kids activities, sidewalk sales, and outdoor dining along Main Street beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Headlining the entertainment that night will be the rock band Verge, sponsored by the City of Cambridge.

Here are a few of the July 21st offerings:

• The Calico Moose Artisan Shoppe and Classes is selling cotton candy for $1. They are also putting together a Town Quilt made of paper, and encourage everyone to stop by and draw an image of our community to include in the quilt.  (*See photo below.)
• Chilson Jewelers is featuring their Mid-Summer Sale with select items on sale for 25-50% off.
• The Gamers Den is sponsoring all kinds of games! You can fly mini kites and glider planes, too, and sample some of The Gamers Den's tasty bubbles. Yes, they’re edible!
• The Cambridge Bar & Grill will have their popular food truck on the street.
• The Cambridge City Council will be on hand to hand out free cookies and share their revitalization ideas and programs for Downtown.
• Sideline's Sports Bar and Grill is offering a special deal on any of their ten handmade burger baskets for just $10.
• Leader is rolling out tables to enjoy outdoor dining, and they are offering 2-for-1 on Garphish Brewing's Blood Orange Cream Ale.
• Leader Retail is holding a sidewalk sale with up to 40% off regular-priced summer apparel and shoes.
• GTI Theatres in Cambridge, with their new recliner lounge seats, will screen the latest movies.
• Where's Waldo? The search continues .....find all 25 Waldos hiding in downtown stores throughout the month of July. Pick up your passport at Scout & Morgan Books, hunt sponsor.
• Finally, we hope you’ll support our efforts to reinvigorate Downtown Cambridge by buying a souvenir Discover Downtown Cambridge T-shirt, on sale for $25 at 208 Hair Lounge on Main. All proceeds above cost help fund the free activities provided every Third Thursday.
